AI Co-Host & BRB Mode
The AI Co-Host reads your show's chat and drafts answers to routine questions (is a team open, what's been pulled, when do you ship) so you can keep ripping.
It answers only from your show sheet and the live break data. If the answer isn't there, it doesn't guess; it sends the question to you. The first time you turn on an AI feature you accept the AI Features Addendum.
Getting started
1. Fill in your show sheet
Open a break and click Set up show sheet on the Co-pilot card. Add the product and format, spot prices, promos, stash or pass rules, whether trades are allowed, shipping, and your own FAQ. Your last show’s sheet is pre-filled, so after the first time it is a quick check. The co-host only answers from this sheet and the live break data, so the more you fill in, the more it can answer.
2. Go live with the browser extension
The BreakersDNA Bridge extension reads your Whatnot chat (read-only; it never posts). Viewer questions land in the Chat questions panel beside your break, with a drafted answer when the co-host has one.
3. Grade the drafts
Mark each drafted answer Good or Wrong. Your grades are how we know the co-host is ready to answer on stream. The Co-Pilot Report page shows your running totals.
Always sent to you
These questions never get an AI answer. They go straight to the top of your Chat questions panel, marked urgent:
- Deals and discounts ("2 spots for $80?")
- Disputes and complaints
- What a card is worth, or whether it is real
- Refunds and chargebacks
Answers on stream
Turn on Answers on stream for a show and the co-host's sourced answers appear on your stream in a box clearly labeled as the AI co-host, while you stay on camera. Questions it sends to you never appear.
Press Take down from stream on any answer in the Chat questions panel to remove it straight away.
Announcements and sales calls
Turn on Co-host announcements for a show and, while you're on camera, the AI co-host box on your stream calls out what BreakersDNA has recorded. It can speak them too.
- “Chicago Bears goes to @mike_rips.”
- “5 spots left.”
- “Every spot is sold. Thanks, everyone!”
- “The list draw is in. Anyone can check every result on BreakersDNA.”
Sales calls help you fill the break. With them on, the co-host names the spots still open when 3 or fewer are left, calls a card from your chase list every few minutes while spots are selling, and names your next break when this one sells out:
- “3 spots left: Chicago Bears, New York Jets and Dallas Cowboys are still open.”
- “On this break's chase list: 2025 Prizm Victor Wembanyama Silver.”
- “Next break starts at 9:00 PM Eastern. The lineup is up on BreakersDNA.”
Everything it says is already recorded: your sales, your spot list, your chase list, your schedule. It never says a price or a hit rate, never calls a hit, never picks a winner, and never hypes. Switch sales calls off for any show and it goes back to announcements only.

BRB Mode — step away for a moment
Need a minute? Press BRB — step away on the BRB Mode card. While you're away, the co-host keeps answering routine questions on your stream, under a label viewers can't miss:
AI co-host · Host is on a short break
The host stepped away for a few minutes. I'm their AI co-host until they're back.
- 5 minutes by default, 10 at most.
- Once per 40 minutes back on camera.
- List draws, wheel spins and giveaway draws are locked until you're back.
- If time runs out, the overlay switches to a short-pause screen.
- Every break is logged, and you can download the log from the Co-Pilot Report.

Co-host personas
Pick a personality for your co-host each show. Only the tone changes; the facts never do. If a restyle would change a name or a number, the plain answer is used instead.
Nova (Hype)
Loud, fast, big energy for high-end product.
The Curator (Old school)
Calm collector, talks about sets and history.
Ace (Straight shooter)
Short, clear answers, no fluff.
Riff (Comedian)
Light jokes, keeps late-night shows fun.
Decimal (Stats nerd)
Precise, numbers first.
Spoken answers
Answers shown on stream can also be read aloud in your persona's voice, with the same text on screen for viewers with sound off. Taking an answer down stops the audio too.
Use your own voice
Instead of a stock voice, your co-host's spoken answers can be read in an AI voice made from your own show audio. It only ever reads the same checked answers the text co-host shows on screen.
It's a paid add-on on any plan, including Free: $149/month or $1,490/year, with 2,500 answers a month spoken in your voice. After that, answers use the standard co-host voice until the next month. You're never charged extra.
- Open Co-Pilot AI Voice in your dashboard and read and sign the voice consent. Only you can consent, and only for your own voice.
- Upload about 30 minutes of your show audio or video (up to 10 files). Clips where you're the only one talking work best.
- Read a short phrase out loud so our voice provider can confirm the voice is yours. Your voice is only made if that check passes.
- Wait for training to finish, then switch your voice on.
- It can be switched on only once your graded answers show the co-host is accurate enough, the same bar as BRB Mode.
- It always introduces itself as your AI co-host, speaking in an AI voice. It never presents itself as you speaking live.
- Turn it off at any time. The text on screen stays the same either way.
- Withdraw at any time: it stops right away, and your voice and recordings are deleted within 120 days.
Add the co-host overlay in OBS
- Copy the overlay URL from your break console: it's on the BRB Mode card.
- In OBS, add a Browser source, paste the URL, and set it to your canvas size.
- If the co-host speaks, tick Control audio via OBS on that source so its sound goes out on stream.
- So the co-host doesn't talk over you: in the OBS Audio Mixer, open the overlay source's Filters, add a Compressor, set Sidechain/Ducking Source to your mic, then set Ratio 10:1, Threshold −30 dB and Release 400 ms. The co-host gets much quieter while you speak and comes back when you stop. It isn't muted, so test it before you go live.
The overlay is invisible until there is something to show. More on overlays in Live tools & overlays.
Start with a few shows where only you see the drafts. Once your graded answers show the co-host gets things right, turn on answers on stream.
You stay the host. The co-host covers routine questions and short breaks; it doesn't run your show, make deals, or settle disputes. Follow your selling platform's rules for hosts at all times.
